We've been working on some kigurumi inspired characters - Lil' Smushies! Kigurumi are cute pajama onesies, often of animals or cartoon characters. Coming up first is a farmyard animal theme, but as you can see from the work below there are red panda, black + white panda, and more to come! 
I don't like to throw anything out when I work! If I want to change something, like the colour of an outfit, I will copy the element and edit the new one... then I can go back and compare the two, to see if I like the progression. All of this can lead to a rather overwhelming art board! But it's worth it to get the character looking JUST right.

A quick little Watermelon repeat inspired by todays earlier find!
This is a bit of work-in-progress for the fruit salad clipart pack we're working on right now. 
Inspiration photos from notonthehighstreet.com and greenparlour.com We should be in bed, but we can't tear ourselves away from the computer. We want so badly to finish work on this dusky pink and cream version of our favourite Wildflower clipart pack. There's just too many ways to combine beautiful colours. It's hard to pick just one colourway.
Hopefully it will be up by the end of the weekend!  The Wildflower packs are now available on our Etsy store!
But we decided to take them one step further... Now we're experimenting with subtle watercolour textures and a more faded retro finish. Keep an eye out, these should be in store soon... ♥  A sneak-peek at our current work-in-progress.
