A quick little Watermelon repeat inspired by todays earlier find!
This is a bit of work-in-progress for the fruit salad clipart pack we're working on right now.

Inspiration can come from anywhere. We found this absolutely adorable DIY wrapping paper from innerchildfun.com via Frankie Magazine. It is so simple yet so striking! We've been planning on making a Fruit themed illustration set and this is just the sort of post that sparks our imaginations. Watch this space... (and perhaps give this wrapping paper a go in the meantime!).
Inspiration photos from notonthehighstreet.com and greenparlour.com We should be in bed, but we can't tear ourselves away from the computer. We want so badly to finish work on this dusky pink and cream version of our favourite Wildflower clipart pack. There's just too many ways to combine beautiful colours. It's hard to pick just one colourway.
Hopefully it will be up by the end of the weekend! We were playing around with flowers and text to create some beautiful wedding themed graphics... here's a tiny sneak peek at what's coming! It should be hitting the Etsy store tomorrow! ♥
For those who are curious the About page has been updated! Now with more info on the design process and a little bit about France herself.
This months gift is an exclusive textured version of our popular Fox clipart pack ♥ A subtle watercolour effect blends the juicy oranges and peachy reds together to really make these little guys pop off the page. Perfect for kids party invites, nursery decoration, or just to brighten up your workspace.
This exact pack is not available in store, the only way to get your paws on it is to purchase from our Etsy store, grab the password and collect it as your free gift! We found this adorably informative tutorial today whilst giving our brains a refresher course on vectorising hand-drawn linework. It's by the talented and entertaining Barbra Ignatiev. Well worth a watch! x
Wedding bells were in the air last month as France's little brother married his longtime sweetheart ♥ We honoured the occasion by illustrating them a portrait of their cat children, Stockings and Mittens. The adorable little felt cake topper was crafted by the bride's best friend and bridesmaid, Mel.
As a thank you for supporting loveLUNE.com and FRANCEillustration on Etsy we're introducing limited edition Gifts With Purchase!
These are exclusive products that aren't available in-store. The only way to get your hands on them is to follow the download link you'll be sent when you purchase from our etsy store. Gifts change monthly, so there's always something new. This months gift is a stunning desktop wallpaper featuring an inspirational quote by Tracee Ellis Ross, "May the space between where I am and where I want to be inspire me". We hope it helps inspire you in your endeavours ♥ It might be closing in on winter here in Melbourne, but this song is really transporting us back to summer. Ed Sheeran + Passenger - No Diggity vs. Thrift Shop (Kygo Remix). We had the pleasure of seeing these two talented musicians live last year.
We've got this song on repeat while we're elbow deep in paint and pencils. It's hard to draw a straight line when you want to chair dance, though. Good thing we like our art "loose and gestural". |
